George Richards – Inspector
George spent over 10 years as a licensed Journeyman Electrician before coming to work with his brother, Norman, in 2006. George is North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector #2724. George’s strong mechanical background compliments Norman’s all-around experience in residential construction. George has lived in and around Charlotte his entire life, which gives him a unique understanding of the area and its homes.
George is a proud graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. In his free time, George enjoys following the Carolina Panthers, and spending time at the beach with his wife and son.

Norman has been working as a property inspector since 1991 and remains passionate about the service he offers to this day. His 27 years of professional experience set him apart from most home inspectors, and he is proud to state that he has completed over 14,000 inspections throughout the course of his career. He truly has seen it all and is more than prepared to handle any situation that comes his way, always keeping his client’s needs at the front of his mind.
Contracting and Construction Sales Background
Aside from his long and fulfilling career as a home inspector, Norman has also worked as a licensed general contractor and in the construction sales field. He has a solid understanding of how each system and component of a home work. More importantly, he understands what needs to be done when something isn’t working properly. Norman takes his time to explain what he knows to his clients in ways that they can fully understand and put to use as they move forward with their purchase or sale.
